A great recipe for entering autumn with sprint and a touch of very Vitaminic color. It is that our friend and food blogger Alessandra Colaci of Una Casa In Campagna crowned with our Ul'ka extra virgin olive oil, a squeeze of bianchera variety 100 % .

Elena continues her trip to California and has just landed in Los Angeles.
"When I'm around to explain our flavors and fragrances through the taste of our Barde local wines, I like to experience the local cuisine but also going to find some fellow vintner. This time in San Luis Obispo wine - SLO Wine Country in Central California halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Here they grow over 23 varieties of grapes, of which the most famous Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Albarino, Grenache, Viognier.. In Sanford Winery I tasted mainly Pinot Noir of various vintages. Diversity is wealth: for this reason I am very satisfied that our refosco IMA Barde encounters many fans in major cities in California.
Elena Parovel is in the States these weeks : «every time I'm in San Francisco, between a tasting and the other I like to come and breathe the air around the local "Tram de Opcina" what I admire most is the great organization that welcomes tourists, with the addition of the free spirit of the inhabitants of this cosmopolitan and multicultural city.»
The Cable Car of San Francisco, as they call it over there, is an institution as much as our historic Tram in Trieste . Its establishment dates back to 1873 and it was an immediate success because it connected the city to its hill areas where many of those working in the center lived. It is the only one left on the entire American territory and it's considered a national treasure!
"We all think that, seeing it in pictures beautiful and sunny, San Francisco is a typical Californian city, in the sense of being hot and always sunny. But it is just the opposite: it's usually pretty cold, being in a bay crossed by very cold currents. The part where there is the famous Golden Gate Bridge and the upper part of the city are constantly covered with freezing fog."
Elena Parovel continues her trip to the United States, in San Francisco, busy with various tastings of her Parovel Barde local wines Fortunately she spares a bit of time to admire the local sights like the famous Golden Gate Bridge, portrayed by Elena on a sunny day! This bridge is suspended above the so-called Golden Gate, the strait that connects the Pacific Ocean to San Francisco Bay. At the time of its completion in 1937 it was the longest suspensed bridge in the world with its 2.71 km and its towers, 225 meters high above the water level.
