With Oil&Wine Run 2017, Parovel is for the first time the sponsor of a race in its territory. And the choice of sponsoring doesn't come by chance: olive oil and wine, have always been two precious health for the allies when in right quantity. And the race is the most beloved sport by thos ewho wants to stay fit.
The path of the 1° Parovel Trophy 2017, organized by GSD Val Rosandra within the Province of Trieste Trophy, starts Winery in Bagnoli della Rosandra passing by our Oil Mill in the Zona Artigianale Dolina to end with the award ceremony at the Winery after having passed by some of our cultivation areas and crossed the streets of Dolina San Dorligo della Valle district, that has been seeing us active for generations. There couldn't be better debut!
The start meeting point is at 8 at Parovel Winery in Bagnoli della Rosandra and from here the enrolled ones will leave to run down the 8,5 km total track. Here you find rules and information.

The 1st Parovel Trophy oil & wine run is the third race of the Province of Trieste Trophy, a circuit of 9 races that take place from February to October in the entire province of Trieste with a total of 700-800 amateur runners enrolled of all ages: young people up to 80 years old.
The Trophy has an important social function, with 500 members on average for each race, who find themselves running in the province on paths or roads, in races whose mileage varies from 5 to 15 km in the reach of everyone. The pool SPORT - Società Podistiche Riunite Triestine takes part in the Trophy, within this company the Sporting Group Val Rosandra has a fundamental role, a group that last year celebrated 40 years of activity, born in 1976 at the Rifugio Premuda in the Natural Reserve Val Rosandra Dolina Glinščice.
Today, this group among the founders of the Trophy, led by Roberto Rovere, is organizing two races inside the Trophy, a race on the track in September and a race on the road, and this year to link to the territory it has woven good institutional relations with the Municipality San Dorligo della Valle Občina Dolina and a good cooperation with our Company.
The race will be held on Sunday 14 May 2017 in the Municipality of San Dorligo della Valle between our Winery Parovel, the surrounding streets and our Oil Mill Parovel to end in the headquarter of the Municipality San Dorligo della Valle Občina Dolina and the award ceremony in our Winery.

We start telling you about the first: MACKÈ
It is said that in the past the inhabitants of the village of Caresana, east of the city of Trieste, exchanged the Lion of St. Mark with the well-known domestic feline.From here the origin of the name Mačkolje, which in the local language sounds like "the village of the cat”. The Parovels are born in that village which was for a long time an important trade point between Venice and the Hapsburg Empire. There, for generations, they have gained experience in the cultivation of grapes and olives.And it is from this name that the young generation of the family redesigns today new values in the usual quality.
