One month missing to harvest and the rows are well-fed. While waiting for the maturation to be fulfilled we open our Summer Osmiza today at our Winery in Bagnoli della Rosandra - Boljunec 624, Trieste!

Tarte salata

Our food blogger friend Alessandra Colaci explains us the difference between a quiche and tarte. "The quiche pie, typical of French cuisine, includes in its composition the apareil (that's how you call the liquid component of the filling) the use of cream and eggs. Instead the tarte does not contain eggs." 

In the picture Alessandra has prepared a "tarte" with potatoes, rolled bacon from Sauris and Montasio, prepared with a crispy sablée pastry shell with our extra virgin olive oil Mackè.
