Last weekend the awards ceremony of the guide Vini Buoni d'Italia 2017 (Good Wines of Italy) was held and we have the great pleasure to announce that our native white wine Doc Carso Kras vitovska ONAVÈ Barde in 2013 received the CORONA (crown), the highest score during the tastings.

Fron 5 to 15 August under the intertwining vines the Parovel Winery opens its Summer Osmiza and welcomes you with its line of Barde local wines to accompany cold cuts of the house, artisan cheeses from the Karst in the quiet Val Rosandra, at the foot of Mount Carso and a short walk from the Rosandra stream.

In this period we are completing the facilities of the new Parovel vineyards.
These are Istrian Malvasia cuttings, the main variety that the Parovel family has been cultivating for centuries and still produces for the monocultivar Poje Barde and the white Visavi Barde blend.
Parovel continues its mission to makethe products of the Province of Trieste known in the world and we just returned from London with great satisfaction! Until yesterday we showed our indigenous wines at the Italian food and wine show Bellavita Wine Academy and our Matos Nonet Barde, sophisticated blend of Istrian Malvasia, Sauvignon and Sémillon was chosen for the London Awards 2016.
We have the pleasure of appearing on the blog of the wine journalist Fabio Magnani that tasted our Onavé Vitovska Barde: ≪After uncorking, give it a few seconds of time to "breathe". The nose will notice linden floral scents, broom and hawthorn. Green Shades of alfalfa and herbs. Initially the fruit is a bit forced to the nose it shows itself better on the palate between savory notes and pleasant freshness. Here, the fruit gets more detailed and is enhanced by a newly tropical notes of white pepper and vanilla hints≫.
