Pink grapefruit salad with Mackè extra virgin olive oil emulsion and orange blossom water, long pepper from Indonesia.
A mini light dessert, fresh and spicy. Appreciated at the end of each meal, it is made in an instant and requires few ingredients. It is a disarmingly easy. The olive oil fragrance and orange blossom water give the preparation a very interesting Mediterranean note.
Ingredients for 4 people:
1 pink grapefruit
10 ml extra virgin olive oil Mackè
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon of water of orange blossom
long pepper from Indonesia
Peel the pink grapefruit placing over a container to collect the juice and cut into very thin slices. Arrange the grapefruit slices into 4 small individual containers or glasses. Place in the refrigerator. In a small bowl, mix the grapefruit juice, sugar and orange blossom water. Add the extra virgin olive oil and emulsify. Pour on the grapefruit and leave to marinate in the fridge for 40-50 minutes. Season with ground pepper just before serving.
