From 22 to 26 September in Turin there is Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, "the most important international event dedicated to food and gastronomy: the MARKET hosts exhibitors from five continents, including the SLOW FOOD PRESIDIA, numerous EVENTS dedicated to the wealth and diversity of global cuisine, FOOD TRUCKS, STREET FOOD, and ARTISANAL BEER, CINEMA SCREENINGS, the prestigious ENOTECA, CONFERENCES examining issues around food production, the FORUMS of Terra Madre’s FOOD COMMUNITIES and more. Together, we’re learning more about how our food is made, preserving biodiversity and securing a better food future for everyone."
And on 24-25 also Parovel will be invited to present its Ul'ka 100% bianchera which is a 2015 Slow Food Presidium. Access to the event is free, and the only tickets are those provided for events booked and paid for, such as "TASTING WORKSHOPS", the "COOKING SCHOOL", the "EVENTS AT THE TABLE", some of the "EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS".
The event takes place in several places in the city: PARK OF VALENTINO welcomes the Italian and international market along with some Italian regions and some partners of the event; the Medieval Village (which will host educational activities); Castello del Valentino - Turin Polytechnic and Torino Esposizioni - University of Turin, where there will be the newest advertisements of Terra Madre: the heart of the city, from PIAZZA SAN CARLO to the Royal Palace, where where there'll be WINE TASTING WORKSHOPS dedicated to wine, other Italian regions and other event partners, the Food trucks and all Italian Presidia.
